LHA has become aware of a significant portion of Louisianas population fearing sharing information due to retaliation. LHA possesses firsthand knowledge of the tactics being used in the local media, nonprofits, foundations, and some government agencies used that minimize support for the growing Latino community in Louisiana. Our aim is to break barriers and provide a news platform that allows for the news to come to light in a a safe and secure space where information is disseminated without consequences. This platform ensures that everyone has the freedom to uncover and share stories that may otherwise be suppressed or censored. Latinola encourages transparency on critical issues, and injustices without the fear of retribution or financial repercussions. This, in turn, fosters a culture of accountability and helps to promote public awareness, public safety.
